Week 8

Probably one of my favorite photos. I took it with my iPhone and tweeked it with an app. Unfortunately the curtains were open so Stella got a bit overexposed. Still it was a cute moment.



We also took Jack to the Denver Aquarium for the first time. Despite the lack of a smile from Jack in ANY photo, he seemed to really enjoy it! Note to self: Learn how to use Photoshop in 2012!

Week 7

Ok I need to make a weekly reminder in my calendar because the weeks are flying by and I'm getting behind! This week was J's 32nd birthday. Unfortunately he had his biggest day of the year ON his birthday so we weren't able to celebrate together. Happy birthday to an amazing husband and father!!!

P.S. I'm a bad wife and didn't get a photo of the birthday boy BUT here's the next best thing.

Week 6

We are 6 weeks into 2012 so somewhere I got of schedule…so let's squeeze in one more. Guess who hit 11 months today…can't wait for the cake smash!!!! With my luck he won't be the least bit interested :(.

Week 5

We had a pretty good snow storm on 2/4/12 (about 16.5 inches in Aurora) so we huddled inside for the weekend. It was pretty funny watching Stella maneuver her first major snow.

Week 3

I'm a few days behind but I just got back from IL. Jack and I went for a week to visit his grandparents. VERY busy week but overall a great trip.

On one of my trips from Btown to Ptown, Jack was sleeping so I took a little detour to "the farm". There really isn't any farm left, it's now just a giant hole from all of the mining that has taken place over the last several years. It really is sad to see the changes because I had so many good memories from this place.

Anywho, my photo this week is of me……..vanity, pure and simple ;)

Week 2

When I told J about this blog, he was supportive but said "You know that it's just going to be 52 pictures of Jack." I concede, he's probably right but hey I have a really adorable subject at my disposal 24/7! However, I WILL try to incorporate other parts of my life as well.

That being said, Jack did probably the cutest thing I have ever seen this week! Hahahahaha ;)

J and I were sitting at the kitchen table having dinner and Jack was on the other side of the island playing. He had been rather quiet for a minute so I got up to see what kind of mischief he was up to…



Yep! He somehow managed to get in to the cabinet….however he hasn't quite figured out how to get OUT!

Next night, same thing!


He melts my heart…


My next 'to do' is to work on getting some of the 'noise' out of my photos!
